Bulk workflow doesn't show cases in notification

In the notification section (shown above) it can sometimes happen that a case would be reported here but not then be available in the bulk workflow processing.
In order to find the actual cases to see what's wrong we can use the "Case Search" widget on the home screen

In broad terms we can search for cases that match the wofklow step that is being reported in the notification. In order to do this click the
icon. This will load a dialog that allows you to search for a workflow.

From here you can either just click the "Search" to get a list of all workflows or type the name of the workflow you are looking for and then click search.

Selecting one of the items then sets this as the workflow to look for in the case search widget.

You can also go further by performing the same action for the status and only including "Outstanding" cases.
Once you are ready you can click search and it will give you a list of all cases that match this workflow step.
