Setup & Registration
A quick guide on how the setup and registration process.
Firstly make sure the application is installed on the device. Depending on your organisations device management scheme this might be available within the Play Store or it may well have to be installed by your IT department or 3rd party device managers (for example TTK).
Once installed locate the application on the device and start it. You will be presented with the setup wizard screen (see below)

Enter the setup URL for your operator and your device registration number. These will be supplied to you by your RevenueShield product manager.
Click "Register Device"
The application will then synchronise with the server and download all information required to run the application.

Once the application has downloaded all the data you are then ready to go. Click "Start RS Mobile" to start the application.

On first start of the application you will be requested for the following permissions

Manage Phone Calls: Required to monitor the state of the phones connectivity

Access to files: Required to manage data files.

Connect to nearby devices: Required to connect to bluetooth devices such as the printer.
Once you've allowed all the required permissions the applicaiton will then get settings from the server

If the device has a bluetooth printer paired with it then you can select the printer from the down down on the login screen

This will connect with the printer and download all the fonts and logos required for printing notices.

The printer will spool paper multiple times without printing anything, this is normal behaviour and is to be expected.
If you are setting up the device for someone else the application is now ready for use.
If you are setting up the device for yourself then you can enter the Inspector Number (Insp #) and Pin you have been issued by your RevenueShield product manager and click "Login".
Troubleshooting
Unique reference has already been used
This means that the registration number you have been given has already been used by another device.
In order to rectify this please contact your RevenueShield product manager and supply them with the registration number so they can have it reset or re-issue you a new registration number.Registration Failed
Should you see this means that the device failed to get all the necessary information from the server. you can try the registration process again by pressing the "Retry" button.
If this persists then you can contact us directly at [email protected]
