Getting started

To be able to use the system you need to have a valid user name and password. You can obtain one either from your local administrator, or by contacting IQM Software.

Enter your details into the login form and press the "Log On" button. If you have enter the wrong details you will see a message similar to the figure below.

After you have successfully logged in to the system you will be directed to the main dashboard. This shoes you all the available options that you can perform depending on the type of user account that you have.

Main dashboard

The dashboard icons are mirrored in the top navigation menu which appears on every page. You can return to the main dashboard by clicking on the icon to the left of the menu.

The navigation menu allows you to jump straight to a specific task. But all areas have a main page that shows available options. The "Inspector" menu allows you to drill down and browse inspectors by different groups. This same information is show in the inspector areas, as show in the figure below.

The performed duties has a dashboard that provides an overview of the work that has been recorded. The information is separated into the inspectors groupings. This provides an easy way to visually check whether a performed duty has not been entered.

Whenever a help icon is displayed you can either however you mouse over it to read a message, or click it, to load a help topic.
